AUGUST 28 Air Supply 40th Anniversary Tour Australian soft rock group Air Supply will be performing live on stage, at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre, Ta' Qali as part of a worldwide tour to mark their 40th anniversary. AUGUST 29 Il Volo in concert The Italian trio that took Europe by storm will be giving a concert at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre in Ta' Qali to thousands of fans. LITERATURE AUGUST 27-29 Malta Mediterranean Literature Festival 2015 The Xth edition, with the participation of Tamim Barghouti, John Bonello, Norbert Bugeja, Efe Duyan, Moëz Majed, Hisham Matar, Nadia Mifsud, Jana Putrle Srdić, James Vella, Marina Warner, and Trevor Zahra. Poetry films from Malta and abroad and live music from Brodu, Nadine Axisa and band, and Oliver Degabriele and band. Entrance free. MISCELLANEOUS AUGUST 28-30 Delicata Wine Festival Gozo 2015 Delicata in conjunction with Nadur local council will be taking its Classic Wine Festival to the viticultural heart of Gozo, Nadur. Throughout the Festival, live entertainment will be provided every night from Gozo's leading entertainers and a variety of food stalls will be available. Purchasing a glass and wristband at €12.50 will allow visitors to sample as many wines as they like, as often as they like. The festival will open at 7.00pm and the last wines will be served at 11.30pm before the festival closes at midnight. AUGUST 28 President's Bike Ride @ Night Cyclists and motorcyclists are invited to participate in this evening ride, in aid of the Community Chest Fund. Cyclists will be leaving from the palace in San Anton while motorcyclists will leave from Verdala Palace at 19:00, meeting at Montekristo in Hal Farrug for a rock concert by the local group Fire. AUGUST 30 Malta Artisan Summer Market 2015 Artisan market at Palazzo Parisio, Naxxar at 18:00.
