SEPTEMBER 25-27 The Bubble 2015 – A Festival of Music and Expression The Bubble returns this year with a host of activities at The Elysium in Ghajn Tuffieha. MUSIC & THEATRE SEPTEMBER 3 Revenants: Degas in New Orleans This lecture, one of a series of events for this year's VIVA, shall be delivered by Gail Feigenbaum; associate director of the Getty Research Institute. The lecture focuses on the 1997 New Orleans Museum of Art r exhibition on Degas in New Orleans, which was a tremendous popular and critical success, and it stirred up a sur- prising controversy in a city where the dead still walk among the liv- ing. The event begins at 19:00, at the Museum of Fine Arts, South Street, Valletta. SEPTEMBER 4 Cliff Zammit Stevens Concert with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra Top Maltese tenor Cliff Zam- mit Stevens returns home for his seventh, annual summer concert, WHAT'S ON TODAY Religious feasts The feasts of Maria Regina (Marsa), Our Lady of Loreto (Ghajnsielem), St Bartholom- ew (Gharghur), St Dominic (Birgu), St Joseph (Manikata), St Julian (St Julian's) and St Paul (Safi) will be celebrated today. Delicata Wine Festival Gozo 2015 Delicata in conjunction with Nadur local council will be taking its Classic Wine Festi- val to the viticultural heart of Gozo, Nadur. Throughout the Festival, live entertainment will be provided every night from Gozo's leading entertain- ers and a variety of food stalls will be available. Purchasing a glass and wristband at €12.50 will allow visitors to sample as many wines as they like, as often as they like. The festival will open at 19:00 and the last wines will be served at 23:30 before the festival closes at midnight. The Valley of Thousand Pleasures Pop-up exhibition organised by Fragmenta on the foot path Triq Il-Lanca, leading around Fort St Elmo, Valletta, from 16:00 to 20:00. 'The Valley of Thousand Pleasures' presents a collaborative work by Jagna Ciuchta and Samir Ramdani. It is an occasion for the two artists to interweave two nar- rations dug out from their re- spective research. Mit-Tfal Ghat-Tfal: Take Your Child Fishing Ta k e - y o u r - c h i l d - f i s h i n g event at Marsascala prom- enade in aid of Puttinu Cares from 17:00 to 20:00.
