Themes may change from one week to the other ON Saturday 17 October there will be another spec- tacle from the Gladiators Night's athletes at the Dol- men Hotel. All the Titles for the competition will be sanctioned by the World Kickboxing Network (WKN). The main fight of the evening will be between the Maltese Brandon "Boġon" Borg, Team Spartans, who will face Kovaks Ervin from Hun- gary. They will contend for the World WKN Ti- tle in the 73kg category. This will be a 5x2 semi- professional match with K1 rules. Daniel "the Jet" Zahra, Team Noel, will face Grona Sandor from Hungary. It will be an international match of 5x2 professional level with K1 rules. Keith Azzopardi, Team Spartans, will compete with a French Kick- boxers for the WKN European Title in a 4x2 semi-professional K1 match. Melvin Fenech, Team Noel, will face a Kickboxer from Hungary engaging in a K1 4x2 match. It will be one on a semi-professional level. Clayton Desira, Team Noel, will compete in K1 with Italian Kick- boxer for International Gladiators Promotion Title.. The other Maltese athletes that will compete with foreigners are Kirsten Brown, Brown's Boxing, in a Boxing match with the Boxer from England. Aiden Borg Catania, Team Noel, will have a K1 match with a Kickboxer from Italy. The Fight Card for the evening will have 14 matches in the disci- plines of Kickboxing, K1 and Box- ing at amateur, semi-professional and professional level. Nine Mal- tese clubs will bring their Kickbox- ers and Boxers to compete in their respective disciplines. The press conference and weight checking for the athletes will be held on Friday 16th October at the Dolmen Hotel.
