WHAT'S ON TODAY Manikata Pumpkin Festival Village event in Manikata cel- ebrating pumpkin produce, near the Manikata church from 10:00 to 16:00. Tickets are at €12. Bookings: www.kreattivita.org. Senglea Maritime Festival Day of re-enactments and sight-seeing tours around Sen- glea from 10:00 to 17:00. The public attending the Senglea Maritime festival will be able to see a glimpse of the fascinating history of the Royal Navy in the Mediterranean and in Malta. This is achieved by drills, an air-raid scene and also displays of weapons used by the British forces in Malta. There were 70 NGOs, 17 Local council & 4 Government entities hosting project beneficiaries Out of 274 beneficiaries, 21 individuals are migrants, 80 persons are with disability, and 36 are prison inmates 60 project beneficiaries found employment, whilst 9 opted to further their studies Out of the 274 beneficiaries, 5 never attended schooling, 8 had not complete their primary education, 30 completed primary education, 44 had not completed their secondary education, 144 completed secondary education, 32 commenced post-secondary education and 11 had commenced a course at tertiary level 59 beneficiaries were over 50 years of age, while another 69 were within the 21 to 30 age group Following the project Leap Traineeship Scheme, 184 are now motivated to find a job, whilst 47 are now motivated to follow further training Over 260,000 hours of LEAP training was provided 90 individuals participated to study visits (duration of 6 days each) held in Portugal and Ireland 6 Regional Development Centres (1 in Gozo) and 2 Family Resource Centres were established National Database for persons with disability was developed, over 800 surveys inputted A Network Directory including major social stakeholders was published.
