Events 54 maltatoday, Sunday, 1 november 2015 Harley-Davidson presents Softail Slim S and Iron 883 2016 models This year, harley-Davidson has presented its much-awaited new powerful line up of cruiser and Dark Custom models that wowed all motorcycle enthusiasts alike. harley-Davidson revs up cruiser performance by adding outstand- ing power and cutting-edge style to the softail slim s model and the new iron 883 that feature au- thentic h-D style, and perform- ance. softail slim s limited edition is a classic, lean bobber-style, from the clipped rear fender to the hollywood handlebar. The softail is equipped with a gloss- black screamin' Eagle Twin Cam 110 powertrain and a chassis that mimics the clean lines of a vin- tage hardtail frame. The softail slim s is offered in Vivid Black bodywork or the new Olive Gold Denim colour with military-in- spired tank graphics. "While the Olive Gold paint and star graphic are reminiscent of the WLA military models harley- Davidson built during World War ii, the softail slim s pays homage to the post-war chop-ups made from those bikes after the war," said Brad Richards, harley-Dav- idson Director of styling. "Those garage customs started the bob- ber era that continues to inspire our styling team today." The new iron 883 is powered by an 883cc Evolution and features a bare-knuckle minimalism, ga- rage-built style with bullet design detailing, straight cut muff lers, a low drag-style handlebar, front fork gaiters, chopped rear fender and a solo tuck and roll seat. The all new adjustable rear shocks and front cartridge forks provide sta- bility and comfort. A blacked-out f loating front brake rotor complements nine- spoke cast aluminum wheels that reduce unsprung weight to im- prove ride comfort and handling. The iron 883 is available in four colour options: Charcoal satin, Black Denim, or Olive Gold with an eagle-and-shield tank logo, or hard Candy Custom Gold Flake with a f lame detail paired with black fenders. The new harley-Davidson mo- torcycles, parts, accessories, and merchandise are available at Fapi Motors showroom, in Mdina road, Attard.
