Through a diverse selection of drawings, prints, designs, paintings, artistic tools and video, the exhibition traces Camilleri's growth as an artist and as a person – a life- time of continuous rediscovery – from the primordial years of his education at the Malta School of Art, to his studies in Europe, to his personal relationships with his family, nature and religion. During the re-enactment, of the fort's gar- rison - some 55 re-enactors in all - are kitted-out in their uniforms to perform their military drill to demonstrate to the Grand Bailiff its state of readi- ness. BREAKING BARRIERS is an ERASMUS+ funded project which aims to address challenges and needs in the teaching of adult literacy by using digital tools. The Directorate for Lifelong Learning within the Ministry for Education and Employment is the lead coordinator of this project and is collaborating with European organisations specialised in adult education and literacy. The peer learning event will include the participation of international guest speakers and trainers. The following topics will be covered: 1. Research on the use of digital media in adult literacy education; 2. Addressing the needs of educators and learners and their challenges; 3. Innovative digital tools for adult literacy.
