For the first time, these films will be availa- ble on Emirates' award-winning inf light entertainment system, ICE. Passengers on the long haul f lights with ICE installed will be able to immerse themselves in a dedicated Star Wars section of ice Digital Widescreen. This will include: Star Wars: A New Hope (1977); Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (1980); Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (1983); Star Wars: The Phantom Men- ace (1999); Star Wars: Attack of the Clones (2002) and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (2005). "We always aim to offer our passengers the best content on board and are delighted to bring the first six Star Wars movies to our screens. With a total run time of over 13 hours, custom- ers could watch all six films at one go on some of our long haul f lights. It will allow Star Wars enthusiasts to re-watch the classic films and gives others a chance to see why these movies have such a huge fan base world- wide," said Patrick Brannelly, Emirates' Divisional Vice Presi- dent – Customer Experience. The Star Wars feature is in ad- dition to over 2,000 channels of on-demand entertainment available on ice Digital Wide- screen including over 500 mov- ies in January 2016. The seventh and soon to be released installment, Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be available on Emirates in early 2016. For further information and f light schedules, one can visit the site: www.emirates.com/mt GreenPak's 'Nirricikla ghall-Istrina' beats its own record again GREENPAK'S 'Nirriċikla għall- Istrina' campaign came to a successful end, registering an astounding collection of 11.5 million plastic caps weighing over 34.5 tonnes, surpassing last year's record of 7 million plastic caps. This effort will culminate in a donation that will be presented by members of the GreenPak Coop Society to the President of Malta, Marie Louise Coleiro Preca, during l-Istrina 2015 charity marathon. The campaign, driven by GreenPak for the fifth consecu- tive year, brought together over 138 schools and 36 entities from different sectors with the aim of collecting funds through the gathering and recycling of plas- tic bottle caps. GreenPak Senior Manager Denise Brincat said, "Green- Pak 's 'Nirriċikla għall-Istrina' shines as a true charity success story for our community and captures what the Christmas spirit is all about – helping each other out especially those less fortunate." GreenPak 's Waste Educa- tion Officer Charlene Mercieca Magro, along with GreenPak 's mascot, Green Gary, is visiting various schools, local councils and organisations in Malta and Gozo presenting all the partici- pants with a Participation Cer- tificate following the end of the campaign. "We would like to thank and congratulate all the participants who have been collecting plastic caps since the campaign's of- ficial launch way back in April 2015. Their overwhelming re- sponse and unabated enthusi- asm further encourages us to continue providing recycling opportunities in a responsible manner," added Brincat. As one of Malta's major char- ity events, l-Istrina is organised by the Malta Community Chest Fund and involves the airing of a 12-hour TV marathon on Satur- day 26 December 2015. GreenPak Coop Society is a MEPA authorised scheme and is a founding member of EXPRA, the European organisation pro- moting producer responsibility schemes internationally.
