maltatoday, WEDNESDAY, 30 DECEMBER 2015 17 CISK has unveiled a rockin' Christmas video featuring award winning guitarist and composer, Sean Vukovic. "A not so silent night at the brew- ery", as the video is titled, enter- tains its audience with a rock'n'roll remix of the popular Christmas carol "Silent Night", exactly twen- ty years after the original song manuscript was found in Austria. "In a season that is so closely linked with carolling and singing, we wanted to celebrate the festive season by lighting up our classic brewhouse with our contempo- rary take on this popular classic tune, with the objective to engage with a broader social media au- dience". says Karl Bondin, Beers Brand Manager at Simonds Far- sons Cisk plc. The video features the solo gui- tarist playing a raw version of the popular Christmas classic "Silent Night" with the copper kettles as a background. Fairy lights create a warm atmosphere in the brew- house that is all dressed up for Christmas. Sean Vukovic is a Maltese in- strumental guitarist and compos- er. Both his songs 'Song For Rudy' (2010) and 'Hurricane Blue' (2012) received honourable mentions during the International Song- writing Competition, described as "the songwriting competition to take note of " by the New York Times.
