A 4.06 ratio final drive – shortened from 3.82 in the Fiesta ST – further enhances in-gear accelera- tion for improved drivability and an even more fun to drive experience. Top speed is 226 km/h (140 mph). Like the Fiesta ST, the ST200 de- livers optimised cornering and agil- ity using: • Enhanced Torque Vectoring Control and 3-mode Electronic Sta- bility Control • A specially modified front steer- ing knuckle • An adapted rear twist-beam with increased roll-stiffness • Unique front and rear spring and damper settings with a 15 mm lower centre of gravity • Sharper 13.69:1 steering ratio and shortened steering arm • Enhanced braking system with a larger tandem brake master cylin- der and rear disc brakes The Fiesta ST launched in 2013, delivering 182 PS and 240 Nm of torque from a 1.6 litre EcoBoost engine and 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration in 6.9 seconds – quick- ly establishing itself as the Europe's leading compact performance hatchback and earning more than 20 awards around the world within its first year on sale. Ford has since sold 30,000 Fiesta STs in Europe. Road- and race-car Ford GTs side- by-side Ford earlier this month confirmed that four Ford Chip Ganassi Racing Ford GTs – two competing in the 2016 FIA World Endurance Cham- pionship (WEC) and two in the 2016 IMSA WeatherTech Sports- Car Championship – will race for GTE Pro class glory at the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race on June 18-19. Ford is returning to Le Man 50 years after achieving a legendary 1-2-3 finish at the 1966 race with the original Ford GT40 race-car. The four cars will carry race num- bers 66, 67, 68 and 69 in a nod to Ford's four successive Le Mans vic- tories between 1966 and 1969. Accompanying the race- and road-car Ford GTs in Geneva will be four Ford Chip Ganassi Racing Le Mans drivers; Stefan Muecke, Olivier Pla and Andy Priaulx from the WEC; and Dirk Mueller from the IMSA championship. The pinnacle of the Ford Perfor- mance line-up, the all-new Ford GT serves as a technology showcase for EcoBoost performance, aero- dynamics and lightweight carbon fibre construction. The Ford GT will be one of the most exclusive Ford vehicles ever with limited volume sold around the world and production for cus- tomers in Europe starting late this year. "Whether it's the new Fiesta ST200, or our game-changing all- new Focus RS, or the groundbreak- ing Ford GT supercar, our Ford Performance offering has never been so strong," said Raj Nair, Ford executive vice president and chief technical officer, Global Product Development. "Ford's EcoBoost en- gine technology has enabled a Ford Performance model to suit every budget and lifestyle." Clean light by Megaman EVER since the first LED lamps made their presence on the local market some years ago, as an en- ergy efficient and environmental- ly friendly replacement to incan- descent and compact fluorescent lamps, the technology has made giant steps. Megaman was at the forefront as an innovator and manufac- turer and today still is one of the leading brands worldwide for illu- mination. Megaman is commit- ted to building a better tomorrow by making eco-friendly products that offer improved energy effi- ciency, create the least environ- mental impact, avoid hazardous substances whilst focusing on im- proving product life expectancy and using recycled materials. Megaman lamps are the best solution for any kind of illumi- nation application, providing optimal energy efficiency at the right price. They are so designed to complement perfectly the ma- jority of light fittings, with a vast range of options being available. ESS Ltd in Imriehel is the exclu- sive representative and distribu- tor of the products in the Maltese Islands. The brand launched a number of innovations during a design week at the end of 2015 as out- lined below. LED filament lamps Megaman's innovative, nostal- gic LED Filament Lamps come with a special look and high en- ergy efficiency. The uniform light distribution creates a soft and ro- mantic atmosphere for the indoor environment, which can be best integrated into quaint hotels and home design. RichColour Series LEDs Megaman has also introduced the branded LED candle lamps and reflectors with a colour ren- dering index of up to Ra95. These LED innovations were designed to simulate natural light sources for restoring the original colours of items perfectly. They are ideal lighting products for shops, art galleries and exhibition halls. Perfect White technology Perfect White technology in- jects vitality to the white colours of the exhibits and retains the advantages of LED lighting such as excellent lighting effects and high-energy efficiency so that white fabrics are vivid to restore their "natural colours". Dim to Warm technology The use of "Dim to Warm" tech- nology and a line of products such as LED integrated downlights, AR111 reflector lamps, classic lamps and candle lamps can cre- ate a dimming effect almost simi- lar to that of traditional halogen lamps. They have a linear dim- ming function of 100-10% or 1%, and their tones can be gradually changed from the full spectrum of 2800K to the darkest warm yel- low of 1800K. They are the best lighting options to create a mood ambience. The story of STOLT ELECTRONIC music producers, promoters and organizers Stolt wanted to create an organiza- tion that focused on promoting big international artists, finding new local talent and producing their own music. Starting out in 2015 with re- nowned German techno artist Sleeparchive, two friends Aidan Borg and Eleno Farrugia began on a mission to bring over art- ists that have never played in Malta, coming mostly from the underground scene. This takes research as well as liaising with record labels and agencies. Stolt focuses on techno be- cause, in their words, of its complexity. Ranging from Mini- mal to Experimental, the genre developed in the late 80's with Detroit Techno, with the con- tributions of German producers paving the way as early as the late 60's. Their audiences fall into two categories - music enthusiasts with a huge passion for electron- ic music and people who want to escape from the real world – they describe it as therapy, an adventure through music.
