maltatoday, SUNDAY, 20 MARCH 2016 Motoring V KSU and Michael Debono Ltd. are very pleased to announce that the corporate partnership the two entities share has been extended! Toyota will remain a corpo- rate sponsor of the Council for an added two years. Toyota has already supported the council for over a year, and now both entities look forward to even more collaboration in the future. As a leader in the automotive industry and pioneer of hybrid technolo- gies, Toyota boasts a great range of options for interested students. The cars we drive and the fuels they consume, define the world we will live in, and therefore companies that show commitment to address this, show promise. KSU looks forward to even closer collabo- ration with this corporate part- ner. Corporate contracts such as these are what sustain KSU's projects every term, and it is therefore our pleasure to maintain such relationships for future executives to build on. Michael Debono Ltd, the automotive division of the Debono Group, offers a full range of motoring services, from the world's number one auto brand Toyota to the premium brand Lexus. In addi- tion, a Quality Used Cars busi- ness has also been set-up so as to provide a holistic service to the different motoring needs of the Maltese population. The Toyota range brings you innovative design, advanced engine technology and class leading ownership costs. Toy- ota's cars, come in all shapes and sizes, with a broad range of features. The car range includes small, medium and family vehicles with a focus on fuel economy, style, com- fort and performance. With everything from compact, city cars like the gorgeous New Aygo and Yaris to supreme off-road and hybrid technology vehicles. Seen in the photo are Jona- than Cremona from Toyota and members of KSU's Admin Team, alongside the latest Toyota Aygo model. Toyota extends its relationship with KSU Tesla Model 3 will be for sale on 31 March, with a $1,000 reservation fee TESLA'S fourth car, the Model 3, will be revealed on 31 March, chief executive Elon Musk told shareholders on the company's quarterly earnings call. Long awaited, the Model 3 is intended to be Tesla's first "moderately priced" car. Tesla has said that it will have a starting price of about $35,000, which will likely be reduced further by the electric vehicle subsidies on offer in many countries around the world. Die-hard Tesla fans who are expecting to buy the car re- gardless of what is revealed at the end of March should start saving, however. In a tweet recently, Musk confirmed that reservations for the car will open at the same time as it is revealed to the world - with a $1,000 deposit necessary. But don't hold your breath for the reservation to be delivered. Even the best estimates of how long it will take to produce the first Models 3 have them arriving towards the end of 2017, and if the Model X is any indication, that date could slip markedly. The X was eventu- ally delivered three years late. The Model 3 will be the third major car in Tesla's fleet. The Model S, a luxury sedan, was launched in 2012, while the Model X, an SUV/people car- rier crossover, was launched last year. Musk has repeatedly commented on how the model numbers of the three cars will eventually spell out the word "S3X". A fourth Tesla, the Roadster, launched the Tesla motors range. A sports car based on the Lotus Elise, around 2,500 roadsters were sold before the range was discontinued in 2012.
