GO employees raise funds for Sacred Heart missions in bake sale THE GO Cares employee fund has made a donation to the Daughters of the Sacred Heart to support their missions in India, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and The Philippines. The funds were raised by GO employees through a bake sale staff activity. "Every year, GO employees organise numerous fundrais- ing initiatives and events to help those in need, both in Malta and abroad. The Daughters of the Sa- cred Heart, founded in Malta in 1903 by Madre Teresa Nuzzo, do a fantastic job both in providing education and support to hun- dreds of children in Malta and by working in other communities that have very limited resources. Education is of course close to our hearts and the key to our future, so I would like to thank all GO staff for supporting this activity," Senior Manager of HR Operations at GO Josephine Grima said, dur- ing the presentation of the funds to Madre Sr Prassede Farrugia. The GO Cares Employee Fund is an initiative through which GO employees voluntarily do- nate a small contribution from their salary on a monthly basis. GO employees are able to support various worthy causes by organ- ising different activities during the year and making use of dona- tions made through his Employee Fund.
