maltatoday, SUNDAY, 5 JUNE 2016 53 Sport FOOTBALL all time', dead at 74 The most famous photo of Ali ever taken is of him standing over Sonny Liston Muhammad Ali was never shy about lauding his own balletic talents in the boxing ring, and this photograph shows why. His ability to move away from his opponent, Joe Frazier, with such grace makes Frazier's haymaker look utterly crude. Ali appears to be untouchable. In dumping George Foreman to the canvas in 'The Rumble in the Jungle', Ali reclaimed the heavyweight title after his long suspension for refusing to be drafted into the US Army. A photo of Ali and Frazier, taken in 2003. These two men, who were once so supreme and who shared such a glorious history, appear to have been defeated by age. Ali and Frazier gave the boxing world three of the best fights the world has ever seen. Till today the fights are still rated the best fights ever in the history of the sport. Joe Frazier died in 2011. Arsenal trigger Vardy's Leicester buy-out clause - reports ARSENAL have triggered a buy- out clause in striker Jamie Vardy's contract with English champions Leicester City after making a bid of about 20 million pounds, sev- eral British media reports said on Friday. Vardy, who is in England's 23- man squad for the Euro 2016 fi- nals in France that start next week, scored 24 Premier League goals last season as Leicester won the top-flight crown for the first time in their history. The 29-year-old was chosen as Player of the Year by the Foot- ball Writers' Association and was named in the Professional Foot- ballers' Association's team of the year. Former England forward Gary Lineker, a Leicester fan, has urged Vardy not to leave. "Stay with the Champions @var- dy7 don't join the perennial also- rans," Lineker said on his Twitter account. Arsenal have not won the league since 2004 and finished second this season, 10 points behind Leicester. They were both at Inter in the 2008/09 season, before Ibrahi- movic moved on to Barcelona. According to Sky Sports News, United hope to have the deal complete before Euro 2016 be- gins on June 10. Ibrahimovic has previously been linked with clubs in China, as well as the likes of AC Milan and other English sides. He added, in the press confer- ence held a day before United announced Mourinho's appoint- ment: "I believe he is the man to take them back to the top. Wherever he went he has won. He knows what he is doing. If you want to win, you bring Mour- inho. "I had a fantastic time with him when I was working with him - so working again with him...? "When I left Inter I said we had had a short time together but a great time. If we will work to- gether again, I don't know. Let's see how things play out. "I don't give guarantees - but there are concrete offers from the Premier League, so let's see what happens."
