Over the coming three seasons run- ning from 2016/17 until 2018/19, GO Sports will broadcast 380 matches per year. In addition, GO has also secured exclusive rights for the next two seasons for the Emirates FA Cup and the Italian Serie A. Commenting on these prestig- ious sports acquisitions, GO's Chief Executive Officer, Mr Yiannos Michaelides said: "GO is excited to have retained exclu- sive rights to the Premier League, Serie A and now also the Emir- ates FA Cup, the latter after the absence of 4 seasons. These long- term partnerships with the most prestigious and admired football championships are a central part of GO's ongoing mission to pro- vide the best in TV content and broadband packages to its cus- tomers." For the upcoming season, GO Sports customers can enjoy 380 English Premier League matches per season with 200 to be shown live and 180 on a 2 hour delay, 380 live Italian Serie A matches, all of which will be broadcast with Italian commentary, and 60 Live Emirates FA Cup matches which will now return to GO Sports. Opel's overall volume increase in Eu- rope for the first five months of the year now stands at almost 38,500 units (more than 8%), giving Opel an increase in vol- ume surpassing the overall 2015 results after only five months. Opel grew stronger than the overall European total vehicle market both in May and year-to- date. The market was up by only around 6.8 % in the period from January to May. Opel's market share has increased by around 0.1 percentage points to 5.9% over the course of this year. Opel registered an increase in registrations in 18 European markets in the first five months. The brand with the Blitz man- aged to improve its market share in 15 European countries. "The strong growth is the re- sult of our young and attractive model portfolio. The new Astra is one of the keys to our success and we have already received over 200,000 orders for it from across Europe. We are on the right track," said Peter Christian Küspert, Vice President Sales & Aftersales. Europe's "Car of the Year 2016", the new Opel Astra, was once again the main driver of this growth. So far this year, more than 113,500 Astra have been sold – an increase of around 22% compared to the same period last year. The current orders are proof of how well the overall Opel portfolio is perceived. Nestlé's history on canvas SIX MCAST students from the Art and Design Institute spent the morning of 21st May interpreting Nestlé's 150 year history live, via a painting on a canvas. The event formed part of the Nesquik Marine Festival which was held at the Malta National Aquarium and was organ- ised by Nestle' Malta. The canvas portrayed three main aspects of Nestlé's rich history in- cluding its origins, the Brands this company encompasses and the Wellness aspect which Nestlè em- phasizes so much upon. Once com- plete the artwork will be put on ex- hibit at the Nestlé premises in Lija. Moyra Felice, Acting Deputy Director-Programme Management Technical College, Institute for the Creative Arts said that "The stu- dents and all those involved were very passionate about this project and this will be a feather in their cap. Events like these, will continue to encourage the students' active participation in similar educational projects with industry, which was a wonderfully positive experience for our students." At the end of the event each stu- dent was presented with a certifi- cate of participation in recognition of their work by Alfred J Borg, Nestlé Malta's Marketing & Cor- porate Communications Manager.
