Visual artists Teresa Sciberras, Maxine Attard, Aaron Bezzina and Matthew Attard present works ranging from sculptures to installations alongside a viertual reality game developed by Sandro Spina in collaboration with exhibition curator Glen Calleja. Doors open at 09:00am. Runs until October 16. La Rouge Burlesque Revue An evening of electro-swing music, comedy by Joseph Zammit and Burlesque by Undine LaVerve and Wonderful Ginger. Apply online through www.mipf.eu or email: info@eufsc.eu, or phone on 77727222 NOVEMBER 26-27 Amor Alegria Academia de Baile Flamenco presents its bi-annual production entitled 'Amor'., based on the Maltese legend 'L-gharusa tal-Mosta'. Special guest artist Renzo Spiteri will participate on percussion. The production will showcase a variety of Flamenco rhythms together with a few Maltese traditional songs including a local folk singer. This event will be making a contribution towards Cancer Research through RIDT. THEATRE SEPTEMBER 14 - OCTOBER 23 Il-Giddieb Ghomru Qasir/The Lying Kind Bilingual production of Anthony Nielson's play by Unifaun Theatre at Sir Temi Zammit Hall, University of Malta. The Maltese production will feature Chrysander Agius Daniel Chircop, Snits, Michael Tabone, Julie Pomorski, Magda van Kuilenburg and Marylu Coppini and will be staged between October 7 and 9. The English version will feature Edward Mercieca, Alan Paris, Antony Edridge, Magda van Kuilenburg, Polly March, Michaela Fenech and Thomas Camilleri. The play is directed by Chris Gatt. Kenneth MacMillan's full-length ballet is a compelling exploration of identity in the turbulent wake of the Russian revolution. Anastasia is a ballet about one of the great historical mysteries of the 20th century, only recently solved. At the height of the Russian Revolution the royal family were executed, but afterwards a young woman appeared – apparently a surviving royal princess, the Grand Duchess Anastasia. Protagonist Nathalie, a passionate philosophy teacher at a high school and a mother of two must reinvent her life after one day, her husband announces he is leaving her for another woman.
