Apply online through w w w.mipf.eu or email: info@eufsc.eu, or phone on 77727222 NOVEMBER 26-27 Amor Alegria Academia de Baile Flamenco presents its bi-annual production entitled 'Amor'., based on the Maltese legend 'L-gharusa tal-Mosta'. Special guest artist Renzo Spiteri will participate on percussion. The production will showcase a variety of Flamenco rhythms together with a few Maltese traditional songs including a local folk singer. This event will be making a contribution towards Cancer Research through RIDT. THEATRE NOVEMBER 5-6 L-Ewwel Jien! A play about widowed Pawlina and her possessive, jealous and unemployed son Victor, in his early twenties. Set in the sixties where the female role was still undermined, in a society dictated by strict social morals and values. Victor believes that a woman's place should be at home and tries to manage the lives of his mother and his girlfriend Gina who works for Guzi, a new lawyer in town. Victor also has to suffer the speculations of the villagers who gossip about Pawlina, who is in a relationship with widower Professor Vella. A heated argument between Victor and Gina pushes Victor to take matters in his own hands, with his mother ending up paying for her own personal choices. Venue: Saint Nicholas Hall, Tarxien OCTOBER 28-30; NOVEMBER 4-6 Irbaht il-Lottu Original Maltese-language satire penned and directed by Mario Philip Azzopardi as part of Stagun Teatru Malti, held at the Manoel Theatre, Valletta at 20:00, with additional 15:30 matinees on October 29 and November 5, with shows at 19 on October 30 and November 6. Mokhnenko patrols the streets and forces homeless drug- addicted kids from the streets of Mariupol, Ukraine to stay at his centre for former street children.
