maltatoday, WEDNESDAY, 26 OCTOBER 2016 17 Events The Concept Stadium appoints new marketing & PR account manager THE Concept Stadium team can now consider itself a dou- ble digit team, as Josita Dalli, a new Marketing & PR Account Manager joins the ten-player squad. Besides heading the PR ser- vice area, Dalli will also be taking care of client brand reputation, idea generation, marketing campaigns, whilst being part of the overall crea- tive think-tank. Dalli comes from an impres- sive eight-year tenure in PR, at a leading agency in Malta, and managing some of the most re- nowned brands internationally. Moreover, she recently gradu- ated in Sales & Marketing from the University of Malta. As her fellow colleagues can vouch for, she is a great baker and wears a smile most of the time. She also rides a bike to the office everyday. In a brief comment, she said: (we swear we didn't bribe her!) "I am very excited to join the Concept Stadium. I believe that the company's commit- ment to customer service has been the key to its growth and success over these past years. It is pleasing to see that the Concept Stadium takes this commitment to heart and has emerged as a boutique market- ing partner to its clients, with a strong track record in creat- ing and executing innovative and contemporary campaigns. I look forward to working with the team to maintain this at- titude and to improve on it by working on new initiatives and services that are truly respon- sive to the needs of our clients". Welcoming Dalli to the team, Jonathan Dalli, Founder & Managing Director, said: "It's great to have Josita on board! Since the firm's inception, Jonathan Chetcuti and myself, have worked very hard to cre- ate a company culture of Crea- tive Commercials, and Josita's engagement is testimony to this belief. Furthermore, Jos- ita's engagement will help us to remain boutique in terms of client interface whilst ensuring that we're constantly meeting deadline and proposing inno- vative go-to-market brand ini- tiatives." Josita Dalli GreenPak rewards the 4,000th recycler THE 4,000th winner in the ongoing "Irriċikla u Irbaħ ma' GreenPak " national campaign, Lora Caruana, has this month been rewarded for her recycling efforts. Launched in 2013 on a nation- al scale in the localities serviced by GreenPak, the "Irriċikla u Irbaħ ma' GreenPak " campaign sees an average of 100 residents rewarded each month with a se- lection of useful products and green recycling bags. October proved to be a mile- stone month, with GreenPak also passing the 15th million mark in its distribution of free green recycling bags. "This historic achievement clearly signals GreenPak 's on- going commitment to make it as easy as possible for residents to recycle. At the same time, it also highlights the importance and necessity of public partici- pation in recycling," Charlene Mercieca Magro, Waste Educa- tion Officer at GreenPak Coop Society said. With a clear agenda to help Malta reach its EU recycling targets, GreenPak continuously endeavours to instil aware- ness within the communities it serves to recycle more plastic, metal, glass and paper through the wide range of services it of- fers. Every week, the "Irriċikla u Irbaħ ma' GreenPak " cam- paign sees representatives from GreenPak visiting households who are fulfilling their part in the recycling system, and pre- sent the residents with reusable cloth bags filled with free gifts. These range from food, beauty products, toiletries, stationer- ies and various other products which are provided by Green- Pak Coop Society members. "Besides serving as a 'thank you' to green conscious resi- dents, this initiative also serves to grab the attention of resi- dents who either don't recycle regularly or need a little extra motivation to recycle as much as they can. By rewarding those who recycle responsibly and correctly, we hope that the gift bag will serve as an encourage- ment for others to get involved and help maintain a cleaner environment," Mercieca Magro said.
