22 THE Belfast man battled to a thrilling points win over Santa Cruz to claim the WBA 'super' title last July and the feather- weight rivals will fight again in the early hours of Sunday morn- ing in Las Vegas. Frampton was able to match and often better the work rate and intensity of 'El Terremoto' in their first fight and the 29-year- old is confident of winning more convincingly this time around. He told Sky Sports: "If you look through his career, he has fought the same way the whole time, trying to overwhelm and bully opponents. "I'm the only fighter who has been able to push and hit him back and not allow him to have it all his own way - that's the dif- ference. "I don't think he knows what else to do, whereas I've made a few adjustments in training and if I carry them out then I will win more convincingly." Despite Frampton headlining in the Sin City for the first time, 'The Jackal ' is refusing to get carried away by the magnitude of the occasion. "I don't get too carried away with headlining in Vegas, I'm just looking forward to fighting. "There is a little bit more pres- sure this time round, I've won a few awards and people are com- ing and expecting me to do well. "I just take it all in my stride though and when the pressure is on, I perform best. I've done that all my career since the amateurs and I'm expecting to do a job on this guy." THE Assocjazzjoni Sport Mu- turi u Karozzi held the second programme of the Autocross and Motocross from the ASMK Pasta Poiatti 2016/2017 Cham- pionships last Sunday, when 48 competitors registered for the event. The wetter than usual track, following the night storm, made it more difficult for the Auto- cross drivers to control their cars' performance. But it was not the same for the Motocross Rid- ers as they had almost perfect course conditions. The activity started well be- fore the initiation of Warm-up Laps by both the Autocross and Motocross competitors and also during the First Timed Heats. Following the automotive heats and during the first heats of the Class A Motocross rain showers poured again which made it dif- ficult for all to continue the ac- tivities as planned. The executive committee soon discussed and assessed the situ- ation while it was still raining, especially because it contin- ued raining for a considerable length of time. The committee was forced to postpone the pro- gramme for reasons of safety and decided to continue the pro- gramme this coming Sunday. The administration informed the public present and those spectators who had already paid their ticket to retain their entrance ticket because they had paid to watch a whole day's event. Anyone who presents his ticket at the gates next Sunday will be able to go in again for free. Next Sunday's event will also in- clude a whole Trials competition starting at 9am. The programme will continue with the Autocross and Motocross races which had begun last Sunday. The Trials section will be holding their sec- ond Championship event and the ASMK Pasta Poiatti 2016/2017 events. The Autocross and Mo- tocross events continue their rac- ing from about noon.
