Solidarity Gathering with International Women's Strike Moviment Graffitti, together with people supporting the women's strike, are inviting the people for a gathering at the University of Malta in order to express solidarity with the millions of women who, on the 8th March, will simultaneously strike, march and protest in more than 40 countries around the world. MARCH 11 Eroica Beethoven and Brahms feature side by side under the baton of Principal Conductor Brian Schembri, with renowned soloists Jiman Wee and Kirill Rodin joining the orchestra to perform Brahms' Double Concerto at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta at 20:00. Originally written for Napoleon Bonaparte, Beethoven's Third Symphony was dramatically renamed "Sinfonia Eroica" or "Heroic Symphony" after the composer saw a different side to Napoleon than the one he had admired him for.
