21 Sport DARTS maltatoday, WEDNESDAY, 10 MAY 2017 Kalkara St Joseph retain national title National League – Round Up 4 A Side Cup Final DIVISION One – Kalkara St Jo- seph edged out Floriana Ajax A in a thrilling match to retain the title and deny the greens a clean sweep of all the national team honours. Before the start of play Kalkara held a two-point lead over Flo- riana, therefore a draw would be sufficient to lift the title for the second consecutive year and they started on the right foot with Martin Azzopardi winning the opening game. An immedi- ate reaction from Floriana as they reversed the score in their favour with wins coming from Norbert Attard and John Ciantar. Andy Keen & Gordon Stanmore levelled the score again in the fourth with David Attard giving Floriana the lead again in the fifth. The next two game followed suit with Gor- don Stanmore making the score 3-3 and Vincent Busuttil giving the greens a one game lead.
