From Purity to Perversion One-day multimedia exhibition by Charlie Cauchi forming part of the FRAGMENTA series of events, at Valentine Hall, Triq il-Kbira San Guzepp, Hamrun from 20:00–23:55. Cauchi playfully weaves together archival images, home-movie footage, personal and found artefacts, memorabilia, textures and sounds to explore notions of femininity on the island of Malta. Featured bands include: Decline the fall, Align the tide, Rising Sunset, Repugnance, Angelcrypt, Fallen Icon, Animamortua, 12th Ode, Sahhar, Loathe, Insurgence, Abysmal Torment and Martyrium. Refalo Sixth Form in Victoria, Gozo. The activities in the cultural programme of the festival will be based on the themes of youth literature and poetry. PUBLIC TALK JULY 14 Bartering, trading, fundraising – You Are What You Buy Public Talk Public talk organised within the remit of the You Are What You Buy project, held at Spazju Kreattiv at St James Cavalier, Valletta at 19:00.
