maltatoday WEDNESDAY 22 NOVEMBER 2017 17 Events BNF Bank celebrates another successful Fun Run THOUSANDS of walkers and runners made their way from University, Santa Venera, Paola and Rabat to St George's Square in Valletta, to come together in a fantastic atmos- phere during the ninth edi- tion of The President's Soli- darity Fun Run, supported by BNF Bank. Organised by the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation together with SportMalta, this annual event has become a mainstay event for all, raising considerable funds for the Malta Commu- nity Chest Fund Foundation, which extends its support to charitable institutions and in- dividuals in need. BNF Bank's support of the Fun Run goes back to its in- ception, with philanthropy, health and wellbeing forming a strong part of the Bank's so- cial responsibility efforts. "The enthusiasm and open- handedness of the Maltese na- tion shines bright as we unite towards one main goal to raise funds for such a worthy cause," said Michael Frendo, BNF Bank Chairman. "On behalf of BNF Bank, we would like to thank all those who participated in the name of solidarity. For the past nine years we have kept up our commitment to the MCCFF, inspired always by the soli- darity shown by the Maltese people! Well done and thank you to everyone who partici- pated in this great event!" Banif Bank executives and employees joined President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, Opposition leader Adrian Delia and other politicians in leading the President's Fun Run PKF Cooper Parry wins prestigious Professional Services Award IN October, PKF Cooper Parry was selected as the top contender for the prestigious Professional Services Award by the Birmingham Post Busi- ness Awards. PKF Cooper Parry was nominated and was successfully cho- sen as the winner in a competition amongst well-known audit and legal firms in the region. The award measures business excel- lence across a wide spectrum of 13 dif- ferent categories, with prizes for com- panies and individuals. PKF Cooper Parry is pleased to be recognised in the UK, especially since this was an effort from the entire firm and each of its service lines was represented in the highly-contested awards submission. These efforts seem to be paying off, as PKF is now doing some great work for both local and international clients. In the past 18 months, PKF Cooper Parry continued to expand its international business exposure. Owner and Managing Director, Hilde Watty, provides the best top-end hearthunting services to those looking for their ideal life part- ner. The service launched in Malta during September to an overwhelm- ingly positive response. Since its inception, Berkeley Interna- tional France, The Netherlands, Lux- embourg and Malta has evolved to in- clude a variety of deluxe services for its range of elite members, each bespoke service bringing time-starved busy members one step closer to the love they've been looking for all their lives. When wealthy singles have high dat- ing standards but little time, they turn to Berkeley International France, The Netherlands, Luxembourg and Malta to help them with introductions to long-term potential partners. The dis- creet matchmaking service caters to elite daters who know what they want in a partner. Hilde Watty maintains a personalised recruitment team to vett sophisticated and elegant members to pair with their successful and selective high-net-worth-individuals (HNWI's). Berkeley International France, The Netherlands, Luxembourg and Malta have a member list of high-flying in- ternational business people that are looking for love. These HNWI's are provided with a luxury service by Berkeley International Managing Di- rector Hilde Watty and her team, who sort out love matches for the super- rich. Berkeley International is a dating agency for the very wealthy that is ex- panding across the world to meet ris- ing demand from well-heeled lonely hearts. Hilde and her team spend their time finding partners for singletons in the fast lane of global business. Berke- ley International's dating business in- volves moving quickly to successfully pair two members, a challenge that Hilde and her team of relationship ex- perts revel in. Just as business is increasingly inter- national, dating is too, especially in the executive suite. Constant travel and packed diaries mean it is difficult to form lasting relationships. Hilde Wat- ty says same-sex dating is also some- thing that Berkeley International are delighted to offer. Hilde has opened offices in Paris, Amsterdam, Luxem- bourg and Malta so far, and she is very excited about what Malta has to offer, "We see that a high-end dating agency is very appealing to international busi- ness people here in Malta, people who travel a lot for work, work very hard, have no time and for whom it is hard to meet somebody," says Hilde. To join up for the minimum one-year membership guarantees a number of closely-matched introductions with a wide geographical spread for members to tap into, Hilde said. "We've bolstered our team to deal with the increasing demand in Malta. How many people in your life do you meet that you think you could have as a romantic partner? We're trying to help you see them all in just a single year. It takes a lot of work and dedica- tion," she said. "Berkeley International expertly fa- cilitates smart matches with HNWI's around the world. We make romance easy for our members by providing the professional help to find someone with whom they can form a lasting relation- ship based on their emotional depth, values, personality, spirituality and world-view."
