The works include busts cast in concrete and created through a process of digital scanning and printing. Ceramic objects are slip cast, while glass objects are created through lost wax cast- ing. A series of prints is on high quality archival paper. Marble and concrete relief works come from a collaboration with Reu- ben Lautier, and a collaboration with FabLab Valletta is a holo- gram – a work created purely from light! Krea- turi, a Gabriel Caruana Founda- tion project, introduces children to modern and contemporary art, Ga- briel Caruana, and the Mill – Art, Culture and Crafts Centre, while encouraging creative expression through ceramic sculpture. Last August a group of children par- ticipated in eight workshops at The Mill - Art, Culture and Crafts cen- tre, Birkirkara. UNTIL DECEMBER 12 REL•INK – Indelible Narratives Collective exhibition drawing on the history of tattoos in Malta, on display at the Malta Maritime Museum, Birgu. Featuring oral ac- counts and images of tattoo designs of elderly Maltese men, who worked on ships or on the waterfront as ste- vedores, fishermen, longshoremen, dockers, sail makers, sailors, stew- ards, coalmen, firemen, Royal Navy service men, Merchant Navy men, firemen, stokers, labourers and oth- ers. REL•INK is a community out- reach project in collaboration with the Malta Maritime Museum, the Library Information and Archive Sciences Department of the Uni- versity of Malta and Arts Council Malta. UNTIL DECEMBER 16 An Accidental Find Exhibition of sculptures by Paul Scerri at The Pop-Up Gallery, 37, Treasury Street, Valletta. The Fund will be of assistance in reaching the objectives of the reformed Common Fisheries Policy and support the implementation of the Integrated Maritime Policy, as delineated in pertinent Regulation (EU) No. 508/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
