A collection of abstract, bio- morphic paintings by Wioletta Kulewska, inspired by the ma- rine fossil remains found inside Maltese limestone. UNTIL MARCH 4 Collapse Set in a dystopian future un- der siege, the streets are chaotic and violent, with armed soldiers raping and killing at whim. A young woman named Greta lives together with her damaged boy- friend Robbie. Robbie is not al- lowed outside for the sake of his safety. The lovers have created a bullet-proof bubble around themselves, full of stories and fairy tales, oblivious to the trouble outside . . . until Stella comes to visit. Then Greta and Robbie's world is turned upside down. This event is being held at St James Cavalier and is sup- ported by the Malta Arts Fund. Warning: Rated 18. Nudity and scenes of a sexual nature. UNTIL MARCH 11 Xewwex Lisa Iglesias uses an early, la- bour intensive animation tech- nique to create her videos. The artist composes thousands of individual drawings and col- lages on paper that she then documents in sequence to pro- duce a sense of motion. Iglesias emphasises the handmade qual- ity of her animations through her attention to repetition and imperfection, producing loop- ing moving pictures. Lines and forms continuously and irregu- larly jump, producing a frenzied
