47 Events maltatoday SUNDAY 8 APRIL 2018 Record delivery for Pizza Hut PIZZA Hut Malta was recently entrusted by Endorphina Inc. with the task of delivering al- most 600 pizzas to various loca- tions around Malta. In fact, this was the single largest delivery order in 25 years of operation in Malta. The order was to deliver around 600 pizzas to nearly 200 different locations over lunch time. To meet the high expecta- tions of the customer and to de- liver hot & fresh pizzas in such a short period of time, the opera- tions of all five Pizza Hut restau- rants were included. Endorphina Inc., a Czech on- line gambling company estab- lished in 2012, were celebrating obtaining their Malta Gaming Authority License and wanted to share this news with all opera- tors within the local gaming in- dustry. To convey this message, all the Pizza Hut boxes were co- branded for the occasion with Endorphina's logo and a message saying: 'We've got our MGA! Let's Celebrate… Pizzas on us!". Nathalie Xuereb Saydon, Fran- chise Manager of Pizza Hut Malta, stated that "it was chal- lenging to organise and ensure a smooth delivery of fresh, hot piz- zas to all locations but definitely a very fun experience to have been a part of. It was an hon- our to collaborate with an ex- ternal company in order to help them execute their plans and we are proud that Endorphina entrusted us with this project." The lucky recipients of the piz- zas were all very pleasantly sur- prised to be greeted at work with a pizza for lunch. Lucie Kadlecova, Marketing Manager of Endorphina Inc., said: "We were looking for a strong partner to help us execute this plan and Pizza Hut was the perfect choice. Thanks to the number of restaurants in Malta, dedication and perfect service, we managed to surprise a lot of our current and future business partners with fresh hot pizza. We would like to say a big thank you to Pizza Hut employees who made it all happen." Emirates unveils more spacious Business Class seats on its Boeing 777 aircraft EMIRATES has unveiled a brand new Business Class cabin and configuration on its Boeing 777- 200LR aircraft, with new wider seats laid out in a 2-2-2 configu- ration for the first time. The airline has invested over US$150 million to refurbish the 10 existing 777-200LR aircraft in its f leet. The newly refurbished Emir- ates 777-200LR aircraft is set in a two-class configuration which offers 38 Business Class seats and 264 seats in Economy Class. While the Business Class seats are in the same design and shape of Emirates' latest lie-f lat seats, they are now two inches wider for a more comfortable journey. The seats retain the champagne coloured finish and diamond stitch pattern on the full leather cover, and the ergonomically designed headrest revealed on Emirates' newest Boeing 777 in November. The Business Class seat has a pitch of 72 inches and moves in- to a fully f lat sleeping position. It also has touchscreen controls for the seat and inf light entertain- ment system, several personal lighting options, privacy panels between seats, a shoe stowage area, footrest and a personal mini-bar. Luxury and comfort are at the heart of Emirates' product re- fresh as overhead bins in centre of the cabin have been removed for an airier and more spacious feel on board. The cabin boasts electronic windows and the larg- est personal in-f light entertain- ment (IFE) screens in Business Class at 23 inches wide. The cabin also features the Ghaf tree – considered the na- tional tree of the United Arab Emirates, and now a signature design on the latest Emirates air- craft. In addition, the new Business Class cabin features a social area – unique to the Boeing 777- 200LR f leet. The mini lounge ar- ea features snacks such as crisps, sandwiches and fruit, as well as beverages for customers to help themselves to during the f light. The offering will complement Emirates' full service of region- ally inspired cuisine prepared by gourmet chefs, and accompanied by some of the most exclusive wines, champagnes and spirits in the world. Economy class seats onboard the 777-200LR have also been re- freshed to the latest colour pal- ette of soft greys and blues.
