17 COMMERCIAL maltatoday | SUNDAY • 27 MAY 2018 FOR more than a decade, Fritz Energy & Engineering Ltd has been bringing turnkey pro- jects for fuel pump operators around Malta to fruition. Fritz offers a variety of services such as technology consultancy, re-designing, engineering and construction of new facilities, project management services, provisioning of above-ground storage and dispensing facili- ties of fuel, and after-sales ser- vices. Some of the major works which have been carried out by the company include the installation, refurbishment, and embellishment of fore- courts, canopies, totem poles, and signs. This sort of work allows the properties' values to increase considerably as mi- nor, but crucial, details are im- proved upon; such as the lev- elling of the forecourt ground and easier-to-clean façades. VC Service Station in Għargħur, Malta has just been embellished further, through the installation of new canopy claddings for its carwash area, as well as a new towering To- tem Pole. Both jobs comple- ment well the previous renova- tions carried out by Fritz. This work allowed for the complete conformity of the building, while not affecting the daily running of the station. Similar works were carried out at F. Busuttil Service Sta- tion. The works however, were not just cosmetic but also tech- nical, making sure that the station is now fully compliant with the latest European Un- ion standards, while also of- fering better client satisfaction and service. Amongst all the works carried out, a 5-metre totem pole was installed on the forecourt, together with a new canopy which provides more lighting and larger cover for the customers. Apart from complete refur- bishments, Fritz also works on updating existing struc- tures. Pit Stop Service Station of Attard as well as VC Service station are two satisfied Fritz customers where canopy and building embellishments were carried out. In both these cases, the base structures were kept, but were fully reclad, ren- dering the stations modern- looking and highly valorising the property. New facilities at APS Bank Head Office APS Bank has introduced new facilities at its Head Office in Swatar as part of its premises transformation programme. These include a new dining hall and an enlarged recreational space where staff members may unwind and enjoy their breaks in a modern and relaxing envi- ronment. The place has also been de- signed for visitors and guests to meet in a less formal setting. The enlargement on the top floor of the building also includes a new Boardroom and offices while works on a new conference hall that also caters for training events are still in progress. A large terrace with spectacular views of the island complements the new fa- cilities. The entire project, from design to in- stallation and maintenance, was over- seen by the Bank's Support Division. "Acknowledging the importance of looking after our employees and guests, our intention was to transform this area into a more contemporary environment that is both business-like and informal," commented Alexander Camilleri, APS Bank's Head of Sup- port. Forecourt branding by Fritz Mediterranean Heart extends operation promoting blockchain and cryptocurrency projects MEDITERRANEAN Heart Malta Business is a Chinese owned Malta registered com- pany specialising in servic- ing Visa Residency applicants under Malta Residency Visa Programme. Mediterranean Heart has been operating in Malta since 2009 and operates from two offices; one in Gzira Strand and one at the Valletta Waterfront. It employs more than 30 persons and envis- ages substantial growth given the success and attraction of MRVP. Mediterranean Heart is now extending its operation for the promotion of blockchain and cryptocurrency projects cur- rently being spearheaded by Malta Government and the MFSA. This results from the great interest being shown in these developments from Visa Programme clients who are keen to participate in Malta's vision of being the jurisdiction of choice for blockchain and crypto currency. Mediterranean Heart recently arranged a visit for delegations from top range internet com- panies from China including LKC a blockchain technology application platform. Chinese investors met with delegations from OPM and MFSA led by Parliamentary Secretary Sil- vio Schembri and CEO Joseph Cuschieri respectively. The delegates were impressed by Malta's offerings and deter- mination to gain first mover advantage and more tangible results should be expected when the proposed legislation becomes effective.
