CHANEL - Rouge Allure 2018. "I try not to constrain the wearing of colour to notions of 'day' or 'night'; I want women to be free to choose the effect that suits them," says Lucia Pica. Increasing extremities of matte introduce a contemporary edge to the luminous colour lexicon of Rouge Allure. Beloved Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick lends its longwearing smoothness to four new matte shades, whose rosy caramels, soft pinks and plums offset powerful eyes. The Rouge Allure Velvet Extrême lipsticks offer new magnitudes of colour – maximum visual impact without relinquishing creamy luxuriousness. The six colours brazenly match the drama of the eyes in a selection of intense berry-, burgundy- and orange-reds. "There's still comfort, it's just creamier and the reds are very powerful and bold," adds Lucia Pica. Ultimate light absorption completes the vision for Rouge Al- lure Collection 2018, courtesy of Rouge Allure Liquid Pow- der. Its powdery consistency turns upon contact with the lips, guaranteeing lasting comfort and an ultramodern look. Chanel is distributed by Alfred Gera & Sons Ltd. The Sense Group welcomes new National Alcohol Policy THE Sense Group welcomes the setting up of an adviso- ry board to put the recently launched National Alcohol Policy into action. As an or- ganisation, which along with other non-governmental in- dustry and business entities, was consulted in the process of drafting this policy, The Sense Group will continue to offer its contribution and sup- port in order to tackle alcohol abuse including under-age drinking. The Sense Group has al- ways been at the forefront in promoting moderation in al- cohol consumption and two years ago, in fact, launched an updated Code of Practice for outlets that serve alcoholic beverage for consumption on premises. These guidelines were designed to ensure that alcohol is promoted in a so- cially responsible manner, and only to those who are over the legal drinking age of 17 years. Ray Grech, Director Gen- eral of The Sense Group, said: "Our role is to educate the public and those in the alco- holic drinks industry on the use and misuse of alcohol, while discouraging any form of irresponsible drinking. We are therefore looking forward to seeing the new National Al- cohol Policy move forward for the benefit of our community." The National Alcohol Policy, which is currently undergoing public consultation, aims to adopt a multifaceted, multi- sectoral approach in order to minimise the harm caused by the irresponsible use of alcohol. The policy contains actions specific to underage drinking, alcohol consump- tion in general and drink driv- ing amongst others. Set up in 1997, The Sense Group is supported by the alcoholic beverages industry including producers and im- porters. Salva Gutiérrez, from MJN- SERAS, the first medical device capable to predict an epileptic seizure, stated: "To have won this prize is a very important recognition, because the pro- jects that were presented all had great potential, and to know that ours won validates everything we are doing. MJN- SERAS is currently in the final development phase, and in fact, it has been already launched, and we're beginning to talk to commercial partners. This Fundación MAPFRE award will help us boost our activity in Germany and the UK, two of our strategic markets." Miguel Duhalt, from 4UNO (Mexico), a financial platform The Sense Group will continue to offer its contribution and support to tackle alcohol abuse including under-age drinking and drink driving amongst others "MAPFRE Awards for Social Innovation are a great way of promoting talent coupled with a commitment to society" to improve the life quality of housekeepers, said: "More than a prize, having won this award represents an investment in a very vulnerable group: house- keepers in Mexico and Latin America. It will allow us to de- velop a new product update that will feature new tools aimed at improving their lives and the lives of their families'. Very soon, we'll be working with an innovation company to become even more efficient and find solutions to the problems fac- ing this group due to the lack of financial products available to them, such as insurance solu- tions". Finally, José María Gómez, from Scoobic, a delivery sus- tainable vehicle that helps sav- ing lives: "This award means a lot to us because it comes from Fundación MAPFRE, and a re- lated insurance company that is firmly committed to road safety and mobility. Our idea is to develop a mobile application aiming at geolocating potential heart attack victims. It's free of charge and allows any citizen to send an alert to the nearest Scoobic, the operator of which can interrupt their deliveries to take a defibrillator to the re- quired location. We believe this is the best investment we could possibly make. If it helps to save a single life, the effort involved in entering for this award, and for creating Scoobic, will all have been worth it." This ceremony, held in Ma- drid, was opened by Antonio Huertas, Chairman of Fun- dación MAPFRE, who high- lighted the tremendous success of the projects. "Today we have met the three winners but be- hind this there have been 500 innovative projects committed to society. These awards have found a way to promote talent together with a commitment to society. The success of this call strengthens our commitment to launching a second edition of these awards focusing on social causes in the following weeks.
