VAN DEMOLITION

MORE than 80 drag racing drivers shall be
competing in the third round of the Enemed
National Drag Racing Championship or-
ganised by the Malta Drag Racing Associa-
tion and Hal Far Raceway.
These races are organised between
Thursday and Saturday under artificial
lights during the night to avoid the swel-
tering heat.
The races start at 7pm.

racing programme
THIS Saturday, the Assocjazz-
joni Sport Muturi u Karozzi
will be holding the last event
of the 2018/2019 season be-
fore the summer break.
The Autocross section will
hold the twelfth and last event
of the 2018/2019 National
ASMK Pasta Poiatti Champi-
onship with the event starting
at 7pm.
This is another special event
that will include the Van
Demolition Derby, starting at
11pm.
ASMK registered 16 drivers
on vans such as Ford Transit,
Tata Sierra and Tata Safari.
Tickets for both events are
available at the door for €5
for adults while accompanied
children enter for free.
