EVENTS 12 | SUNDAY • 18 AUGUST 2019 maltatoday THE Atlas Insurance Social Club organised its annual Treasure Hunt for all Atlas Group employees. This year's activity had a Game of Thrones theme. 14 teams and a total of 70 employees searched for the clues spread all over the Lija area, end- ing with a dinner at a band club, during which the winning team, named House Stark, was an- nounced. The Atlas winning team was made up of Owen Ciantar, Graziella Desira, Sandra Coleiro and Clive Mifsud. Atlas employees go treasure hunting House Stark, the team that won the 2019 edition of the Atlas Insurance employees Treasure Hunt APS Bank is proudly support- ing the musical 'Il-Kbir Għadu Ġej', based on the music of Freddie Portelli. The premiere night was on Friday 9 August, with shows being performed at the Mediterranean Con- ference Centre, Valletta on a number of nights up to today. The musical is directed and produced by Sean Buhagiar, written by Malcolm Galea and the live band is under the di- rection of Maestro Dominic Galea, who also made the mu- sical arrangements. On Saturday 10 August, APS Bank invited a number of guests to the show, which was followed by a reception where they and the Bank's officials mingled with the cast, band, crew and none other than Freddie Portelli himself. Marcel Cassar, APS Bank CEO commented: "This musi- cal is one of the best of its kind ever to be produced and staged in Malta. It's a privilege to see so much local talent producing and performing a show based on the music of our very own Freddie Portelli. We are ex- tremely proud to have assisted in making it come to life and to be supporting it." APS Bank supports the musical 'Il-Kbir Ghadu Gej' Kevin Borg and other cast members performing during 'Il-Kbir Ghadu Gej' MAPFRE MSV Life is a Silver spon- sor of the 2019 edition of the Life Cy- cle Challenge. Now in its 21st edition, the Nescafé 3in1 Life Cycle challenge will this year see the participant cy- clists and support team on a route of approximately 2,000km, starting from Hanoi in Vietnam, going through La- os, Cambodia, and ending at one of the world's greatest wonders, the iconic Angkor Wat. The MAPFRE MSV Life sponsorship was presented by Michael Galea, Chief Business Development Officer, to cy- clists William Saliba, who will be tak- ing part in the challenge for the 13th time, and Sandro Baluci. 27 cyclists will this year be participat- ing in the 2000km challenge between the 9th and 23rd September 2019. Galea wished the cyclists every suc- cess and highlighted how MAPFRE MSV Life's continued support towards this challenge is in line with the Com- pany's efforts to support initiatives that contribute towards the well-being of the communities in which it oper- ates.
