22.08.19 5 BANKING IGAMING specialist recruitment firm Pentasia has announced global expan- sion plans which include investment in the European business and a strong commitment to Malta. e Malta-registered business is ex- panding and evolving its St. Venera location to service growing demand in Malta and overseas. Plans will involve the creation of new jobs in Malta and Pentasia Malta will continue to support the island's growing iGaming and tech- nology sectors through its specialist re- cruitment services. A record-breaking start to 2019 has secured Malta's central position in the business' future plans. Pentasia's Malta team have achieved a record number of job placements so far in 2019, resulting in an overall revenue increase of 20%. Expansion plans include supporting a growing client base in Malta's iGaming sector. Malta's strategic commitment to emerging tech industries – such as iGa- ming, fintech and blockchain – has en- sured a continued supply of local busi- ness and a healthy commercial network. International clients will also continue to receive services from the business' Malta location. Since its foundation in Malta in 2004, Pentasia has made a significant and sustained contribution to the country's digital industries, particularly within iGaming. e recruiter has relocated hundreds of highly skilled candidates from across Europe and worldwide to the island, including word class man- agement executives and sought-after technical specialists. In 2018, the recruiter also started a series of free meetup events for Mal- ta's iGaming technology professionals. Running on a regular basis, 'PenX' has invited expert speakers from the indus- try to share success stories and inspire the next generation. New recruits form a key part of Pen- tasia's Maltese expansion plans, and the company are keen to hear from ambi- tious and experienced staff.
