HOW do you celebrate a career
as illustrious as that of the great
Sir Elton John? With a grand
concert in an equally striking
and timeless setting, of course.
Revamp Malta, a new artistic
enterprise seeking to embrace
the freedom of reinterpreta-
tion through the collaboration
of various creative profession-
als, will be paying homage to
the legendary musician with
an exclusive and intimate con-
cert at the National Library in
Valletta on Friday 25, Saturday
26, and Sunday 27 October at
8pm.
Your Song will feature unique
performances by some of Mal-
ta's finest voices: Chiara Sira-
cusa, Claudia Faniello, Doro-
thy Bezzina, Gianluca Bezzina,
Raquela Dalli Gonzi, Ludwig
Galea, and Paul Bezzina, to-
gether with guest harpist Jacob
Portelli.
This fantastic line-up will
be backed by a live band and
string orchestra, directed by
Edward Mifsud, and will treat
a limited audience to fresh mu-
sic arrangements from Elton
John's extensive repertoire of
hits.
The concert, hosted by versa-
tile actress and writer, Jo Caru-
ana, will surely be a worthy
tribute, spanning five decades
of musical genius.
Tickets may be purchased
from www.ticketline.com.mt,
and seating is limited.
