17 maltatoday | SUNDAY • 12 SEPTEMBER 2021 COMMERCIAL Frank Salt Real Estate renews its sponsorship with LUXOL and St Andrews Sports Clubs FRANK Salt Real Estate and LUXOL/St Andrews Sports Club are pleased to announce the renewal of the sponsorship between them, taking them in- to the next football season. The company has once again been confirmed as one of the two of- ficial main sponsors for both the nursery and the senior team. The signing of the sponsor- ship and unveiling of new foot- ball kits took place this week between Grahame Salt and Matthew Fenech, President of Luxol Sports Club, in the pres- ence of Anthony Mamo and Frank Galea, Vice Presidents St Andrews Sports Club; Brian Said, Senior Team Head Coach and Joseph Farrugia, Team Captain St Andrews Sports Club. Luxol Sports Club was found- ed in 1968 and is one of the most popular local clubs, hav- ing the best nursery on the Is- land with over 600 football stu- dents and all their Youth teams challenging in the top positions of their respective age groups. The club has invested in top coaches and administrative personnel in order to create a professional and safe environ- ment for all the children and youth who train there. "Very much like everyone else, we too felt the hardships that the pandemic has brought upon us. It is in view of this that we appreciate even more the sponsorship agreed with Frank Salt Real Estate", stated Luxol Director, Jason Falzon. "It is undoubtedly an honour for our nursery to be associated with such an established com- pany that share similar values and foresight in investing in fu- ture generations." The senior team has kept most of the squad from the previous two seasons and has added a few new and old fac- es for this season's campaign. Miguel Montefort from Sirens FC, Santiago Martinez from Colombia, the return of Kei Sano for his second spell with St Andrews FC from Japan, ex- perienced Swedish striker Alex Nilsson, Ross McParland from Chesterfield FC UK, Brazilian striker Luis Melo and last but definitely not least the return of Dale Camilleri. Brian Said, Head Coach of senior team had this to say, "We are working hard to pre- pare for the coming season, We know this will be a great challenge for us, however we will be loyal to our philoso- phy in working hard to devel- op talent and that can only be done by giving young players the opportunity to play, make mistakes and learn from those mistakes." "I would also like to thank our sponsors Frank Salt Real Estate for helping the team in such trying times. It is an honour for us to affiliate our club with such a company, who has at heart local sports, which teams like ours can continue to survive and compete in such challenging times." Affiliating itself to a club like Luxol/St Andrews means sup- porting and contributing to the development of today's youth, through sport. Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti and APS Bank plc sign partnership agreement AT a signing event held this week at the Head Office of APS Bank in Swatar, Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti (or "FPM") entered into a long-term agree- ment under which it will have use of the Bank's former main office at St Paul's Street, Val- letta transforming it into a per- manent gallery and exhibition space. THE historical palazzo, which will retain the name of "APS House", will go through several months of upgrading and refur- bishment that will create an out- standing art and cultural hub of international standard in Malta, ensuring optimal experience for the visitors. The agreement marks a ma- jor step of collaboration be- tween the two entities and will provide a new impetus to the acknowledgement and cele- bration of the rich Maltese ar- tistic and cultural patrimony. As a long-time supporter of Malta's heritage, APS Bank is once again taking the lead in demonstrating its engagement as an active community bank with this landmark patronage of FPM. Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Mal- ti is Malta's leading private- ly-run entity focused on the preservation and promotion of the islands' artistic and cul- tural heritage. Founded as a non-profit-making organiza- tion in 1992, throughout its thirty years of activity FPM has reached frontiers in the democratization of Maltese cultural heritage that are noth- ing less than exceptional.
