maltatoday | SUNDAY • 5 DECEMBER 2021 18 COMMERCIAL First time buyers to benefit from over €15,000 in savings when buying through Frank Salt Real Estate FRANK Salt Real Estate's First Time Buyer offer has just got- ten bigger, with an exception- al package put together, worth over €15,000 in vouchers, which will see first time buyers saving money when furnishing their future home. Buying a first property is a very exciting time for many, but one should be well prepared, pa- tient and well-organised. With the ever-changing property market dynamics, the team of experienced and knowledgea- ble sales consultants are there to help their clients find the property that best meets their requirements and budgets and will give valuable advice, whilst guiding them throughout every step of the way. "We have attempted to make the process of purchasing that first home a little bit sweeter, by also including lifestyle and entertainment vouchers, which our clients will hopefully get to enjoy a well-deserved break from the hectic moments the purchase and finishing of a new home will undoubtedly bring", said Director Darren De Do- menico. Adding on to the already ex- tensive portfolio of offers, the company has now partnered with establishments such as Cynergi, Living Well and Myo- ka Spas offering discounts on gym memberships and well- ness treatments; Photo Ciancio and Gwarnic with 20% and 15% respectively on wall art; a free bottle of Prosecco is being of- fered when dining at Skybeach or Waterbiscuit; €20 off with a minimum spend of €50 when shopping from Eurosport; plus more discounts from new home interior partners such as Big Mat, Bartoline Paints, OK Home, Home Trends, The House Shop, Piscopo Gardens and Casafini. There is currently the COV- ID-19 support scheme for which a promise of sale must be signed before the end of the year, where a buyer will pay 1.5% duty on documents instead of 5% on the first €400,000, thus saving up to €14,000. "We strongly urge young cou- ples to contact us and benefit from such incredible savings now, as these will surely help to make that first investment a little bit easier and more affordable", continued Dar- ren. "With a great selection of properties, the support of ex- perienced and knowledgeable sales consultants, and in addi- tion, these financial incentives, Frank Salt Real Estate is defi- nitely the right agency to assist you in your search for your first home". MORE international awards from prestigious European beer competitions have been an- nounced for Farsons' beers. One of the world's most pres- tigious beer competitions, The International Beer Challenge (IBC) 2021 has awarded sever- al beers in the Farsons Brewery beer portfolio in the latest com- petition that was judged last September in the UK. No less than four brews within the Far- sons portfolio were awarded in this competition. Silver was awarded to Cisk Ex- port – an excellent quality 5% ABV premium lager, which is brewed primarily for the export market. Farsons Green Hop IPA, the latest addition to the Farsons Classic Brews portfolio, was also awarded Silver. This is the first award for the newly launched beer. Bronze was awarded to Cisk Excel – Malta's first low-carbo- hydrate beer with the original Cisk Lager taste and the same alcohol level but with half the carbs, and also to Cisk Strong – an outstanding 9% ABV premi- um lager. The IBC rewards and promotes excellent beers from around the globe, acknowledges the skill of the brewer and is an interna- tionally recognised symbol of quality. Beers were tasted from across the world, spanning tra- ditional brewing nations like the UK, Germany, Belgium and the USA, as well as exciting emerg- ing markets in South America and Asia. The judging panel on the IBC includes retailers, importers, publicans, brewers, writers and flavour analysts. The judging process is rigorous, unrivalled and the approach is much re- spected among the panel of judges. This year judges awarded 74 gold medals, 188 silvers and 224 bronzes. Additionally, Cisk Excel was also awarded a Silver medal in this year's edition of the Brussels Beer Competition. The Brussels Beer Challenge, the first professional beer com- petition in Belgium, was created by Becomev (Beer Communica- tions & Events) under the lead- ership of Luc De Raedemaeker and Thomas Costenoble in 2012 in response to the growing inter- est in beer culture. The compe- tition offers a unique opportu- nity for brewers from across the globe to compete with the finest Belgian beers and its aim is to offer consumers a quality seal awarded by industry members, to promote quality beers and encourage healthy competition within the industry. Nearly 1,800 beers from 35 dif- ferent countries were judged at the end of October by a panel of international beer professionals. These awards follow last week's announcement of the Gold med- al awarded to Cisk 0.0, alco- hol-free lager, in the Non & Low Alcohol Beer – Class 1 catego- ry at the International Brewing and Cider Awards 2021, held in Burton-upon-Trent in the UK, also known as the 'oscars' of the brewing industry. Moreover, Cisk 0.0 was also named over- all Trophy winner of the Gold winners of the three classes of the same category, that included zero alcohol, low alcohol and ul- tra-low alcohol. Cisk Strong, a 9% ABV Premi- um Lager, was awarded a Bronze medal in the Strong Beer – Class 1 – Lager category in the same competition. "This year's awards come af- ter a particularly challenging year for our industry worldwide. They are a tribute to a skilled and experienced brewing team whose dedication to the craft of brewing is unrivalled. We are extremely proud of these results, our beers and their rich herit- age and tradition," said Eugenio Caruana, Chief Operations Of- ficer. More international awards announced for Farsons beers
