INTERNATIONAL Hotel Investments
plc, owner of the Corinthia brand, record-
ed €103.6 million in hotel revenue in 2021,
an increase of 62% over the previous year.
e revenue however fell far short of the
€219.4 million recorded in 2019, before
the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
e financial analysis summary for IHI
Group shows that hotel operations start-
ed to recover in 2021 as travel demand
increased following the gradual easing
of travel restrictions by relative govern-
ments.
Corinthia London and the Malta oper-
ations also doubled their revenue year-
on-year and represented 71% of aggregate
revenue.
