The Festival aims to bring to- gether various start-ups, entrepreneurs, founders, speakers, stakeholders and in- vestors to network, serving as an excep- tional platform to promote Malta's Start- Up ecosystem. The Festival is open to 5th formers + from state, church and private schools interested in business and entre- preneurship. Students will have a dedicated pro- gramme and participants will be able to tour the Startup Festival. For this year's Student Programme, earmarked for the 5th of October at 9h30, an array of found- ers and motivational speakers have been invited to engage with our young cohort of students to elucidate their triumphs and failures as a means to inspire tomorrow's young entrepreneurs how to navigate through challenges, the importance of be- ing resilient in the face of failure and the importance of developing grit, a quality that every person needs to success in life. Organized by Transport Malta in collaboration with the Ministry for Transport, Infrastructure and Capital Projects, and Heritage Malta, this event is scheduled to take place on Sunday 24th September, from 07:00hrs to 10:00hrs. This cycling event is open to up to 100 participants, operating on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure your spot, all attendees must register in advance using the following link: https://forms.office. com/e/XwcLW7cDYU Here are the essential details for the event: Event Date: Sunday, September 24th, 2023 Event Time: 07:00hrs - 10:00hrs Ride Time: 08:00hrs (Cyclists need to be on site at 07:00hrs) Meeting Point: Car park in front of Hagar Qim and Mnajdra Archaeological Parks Total Distance: 21km The route is designed to cater to cyclists of all skill levels and offers a scenic jour- ney through Malta's beautiful landscapes. Safety remains a top priority throughout the event, with dedicated Transport Malta enforcement officers providing guidance along the route. As part of the event's charitable initiative, a donation of €10 per participant will be collected on the day, with all proceeds go- ing towards a noble charitable institution. Participants in this exciting ride will re- ceive a commemorative vest, a certificate of participation, and refreshments includ- ing beverages and fruit. For the safety of all participants, it is man- datory to wear helmets during the event. Additionally, for power-assisted pedal cy- cles exceeding 250Watt, registration with Transport Malta, possession of a valid driving license, and insurance are required.
