In relation to the amounts registered in 2022, the final deeds of sale de- creased by 22.6 per cent, whereas promise of sale agreements in- creased by 6.7 per cent. The value of these deeds totalled €256.8 million, representing a de- crease of 16.2 per cent when com- pared to the corresponding value recorded in November 2022. In the month under review, 930 (or 92.9 per cent) of these final deeds of sale involved individual buyers, with companies account- ing for virtually all the rest. The value of the deeds involving indi- vidual buyers amounted to €211.6 million, equivalent to 82.4 per cent of the total value. Final deeds of sale by district and by locality In November 2023, the high- est numbers of final deeds of sale were recorded in the Northern Harbour District and the Northern District, regis- tering a total of 292 and 191 deeds, respectively. At 117 and 120 deeds, the lowest numbers were recorded in the Western District, and the Gozo and Comino District, respectively. The highest numbers of final deeds of sale were recorded in the following localities: San Pawl Il-Baħar (99), Birkirkara (49) and L-Imsida (43). The sum of agreements re- corded in these localities cor- responded to 19.1 per cent of the total final deeds of sale reg- istered during November 2023. Promise of sale agreements In November 2023, 1,232 promise of sale agreements re- lating to residential property were registered, equivalent to an increase of 6.7 per cent over the previous year. Individual potential buyers accounted for 1,102 (or 89.4 per cent) of these agreements, while the rest mainly involved companies. The largest number of prom- ise of sale agreements relat- ed to residential properties were registered in the North- ern Harbour District with 362 agreements, followed by the Northern District with 243 agreements. On the other hand, the low- est figures of promise of sale agreements were noted in the Western District, and the Gozo and Comino District, at 97 and 138 agreements, respectively. The highest numbers of promise of sale agreements were recorded in the following localities: San Pawl Il-Baħar (112), Birkirkara (71) and Mar- saskala (51). The sum of agreements re- corded in these localities cor- responded to 19.0 per cent of the total promise of sale agree- ments registered during No- vember 2023.
