maltatoday | SUNDAY • 2 JUNE 2024 2 THEATRE 'Exceptional' and 'not-to-be-missed' production to be staged again in Gozo One woman show, Is-Snin li Tħoss starring Clare Agius makes its comeback FOLLOWING a successful run last February, theatrical production, Is-snin li tħoss, re- turns to the stage for one night only on the 8th June, this time in Gozo. Performed by veteran stage and screen actress Clare Agius, under the direction of Toni Attard, Is-Snin li Tħoss, is a one-woman show that ex- amines a series of seminal moments and rites of passage that have the power to shape our identity as we navigate through life. Is-Snin li Tħoss received rave-reviews in its last run and was described as "an unmiss- able production", "an excep- tional monologue", "a play that leaves a profound effect on its audiences" and "a production brimming with wisdom." One audience member said "The impact this play imparts is nothing short of impressive. This is not one to miss!" Written by Haley McGee and translated by Clare Azzopardi, Is-Snin li Tħoss, tells the story of one person's life from their 25th birthday until the end. Inspired by real life interviews the play wrestles with the end- less chances to change course while we're alive and the joys and tragedies of getting older. The format of the produc- tion is unique as the audience is invited to randomly choose which six out of twelve stories will be heard. The six stories that are not chosen will remain untold, serving as a reminder that certain things will remain unknown, even to those closest to us. This is a wonderful opportu- nity for those that have already watched it to discover stories that were not told in the Feb- ruary run. Is-Snin li Tħoss will be per- formed at 'Studio', Santa Luċi- ja, Gozo at 8pm.
