GOZO Channel has start- ed the process to acquire a permanent fourth ferry, re- placing a Greek-registered vessel it chartered in 2019, MaltaToday has learned. Sources said that the company's board met last week and approved the ad- dition of a fourth vessel to its fleet. The first order of busi- ness is to appoint experts who will need to determine what vessel should be pur- chased and drafting full specifications in a brief to the company board. The company would then issue a call for expressions of interest for the construc- tion of the fourth ferry.
