MALTA'S minister responsible for hunting Clint Camilleri has said that Malta will be adhering to the EU's ban on finch-trapping, after being told by the European Court of Justice that it was illegal to justify trapping under the premise of "scientific research". Camilleri said it would be presumptuous of him to issue any premature statements, but seemed to hint Malta might not be giving up on applying a derogation on bird trapping.
