Tweaking the
economic model
What we need is
politicians to stop trying
to win votes by doing
favours. Politicians should
win votes on the basis of
proposals that make sense
for the good of the country
and by showing their
capability to implement
change.
Although traditional
concerns like jobs and
inflation have taken a
backseat, new anxieties
are emerging. Chief among
them is the rise in foreign
workers, traffic congestion,
excessive construction, and
overpopulation.
