131 deeds of sale and 151 promise of sale agreements (konvenji) on property in Gozo were finalised in October, the low- est amount registered across all regions of Malta in the same month. Data published by the National Statis- tics Office shows that in October 2024, the number of final deeds of sale relating to residential property on a national level amounted to 1,121, a decrease of 1.4 per cent when compared to those registered in October 2023. The value of these deeds totalled €295.2 million, representing a decrease of 3.7 per cent when compared to the corresponding value recorded in October 2023. In the same month, 1,036 (or 92.4 per cent) of these final deeds of sale in- volved individual buyers (households), with companies accounting for virtually all remaining deeds.
