KampuSajf returns for third
edition at MCAST Mosta
THE Malta College of
Arts, Science, and Tech-
nology (MCAST) will
host the third edition
of KampuSajf from Au-
gust 20 to 22 at its Mosta
Campus and amphithea-
tre. The festival, support-
ed by APS Bank, is co-di-
rected by Elyse Tonna
and Justin Galea.
KampuSajf underlines
MCAST's commitment to
cultural engagement and
the creative arts, offering
a platform for a range of
artistic disciplines while
encouraging dialogue be-
tween students, practition-
ers and the wider public.
Over three days, the Mo-
sta campus and amphithe-
atre will be transformed
into a vibrant cultural hub,
featuring performances,
discussions, film screen-
ings, and live music that
showcase emerging talent.
This year's programme,
themed 'Gathering of Possi-
bilities', focuses on
cross-disciplinary work, envi-
ronmental awareness, and com-
munity-led initiatives.
Programme highlights
include multidiscipli-
nary per:
20 August: What Lan-
guage Do You Dream
In? by Dance Beyond
Borders; Belonging
Here, a curated selec-
tion of short films on
identity and place; and
Ir-Raġel, a collaborative
artistic action led by
Glen Calleja.
21 August: The Spo-
ken Word featuring
Alex Weenink and
Sam Alekksandra; and
Resonant Bodies with
Sarah Vella and Benji
Cachia.
22 August: Sounds of
Ultralow Music: Cher
Camilleri, Dean Mus-
cat, Kym Pepe Żum-
mara – Old Roots,
New Rhymes, an
on-campus residency perfor-
mance by Rea, Orfew and Funky
Monkey, followed by a DJ set by
Radju Ħaj.
Performances begin at 8 pm
