Architecture & Design | 29 I n a cultural moment marked by rapid change and ephemerality, Kave Home introduces Here to Stay, a campaign and conceptual manifesto that repositions the home as a vessel for permanence, emotional resonance, and identity. Headquartered in Sils (Girona) and active across five continents, the brand revisits its design philosophy with a renewed visual and conceptual vocabulary that moves far beyond the conventions of typical furniture marketing. Building on a rebranding process initiated in March 2025, Here to Stay marks the evolution of Kave Home's ethos into something more reflective and design-centric. It is a quiet but pointed resistance to transient trends and throwaway culture, instead proposing an aesthetic and material language rooted in durability, memory, and architectural calm. Filmed in the rural landscapes of l'Ametlla del Vallès (Barcelona), the campaign's short film, produced in collaboration with creative agency &Rosàs, unfolds as a lyrical visual allegory. A woman reads in solitude, encased within the four walls of a room. Gradually, the architectural envelope dissolves, giving way to an open wheat field where domestic objects levitate around her. Some drift away; others remain, held in place by unseen emotional ties. It is a metaphorical rendering of the tension between impermanence and continuity—inviting us to reconsider which objects become part of our domestic memory and why. For Kave Home, "home" is less a fixed location and more an evolving constellation of relationships, stories, and artifacts. The campaign suggests that the significance of our living environments arises not from their architectural typology or stylistic features, but from the accumulation of meaningful, enduring objects, those that transcend fashion and reflect lived experience. This narrative is supported by a design approach that champions technical precision, robust materials, and a Mediterranean-inflected timelessness. Rather than chasing seasonal aesthetics, Kave Home's commitment lies in creating furniture and décor that can age gracefully, pieces conceived not just for utility, but for legacy. "We wanted to articulate a sense of place that's grounded not in walls, but in values," the brand notes. "The home, in our view, is an emotional architecture." With more than 140 retail locations in over 80 countries, Kave Home's global footprint is significant, yet its roots remain deeply tied to the heritage of Girona and the broader Mediterranean ethos, where craftsmanship, light, and material honesty have always informed architectural expression. That sensibility permeates not only the design language, but also the company's long-standing relationships with artisans, designers, and sustainability-focused partners. More than a campaign, Here to Stay is a design inquiry into permanence. It asks what we choose to carry with us, what we let go, and what truly shapes the spaces we call home.
