The survey carried out after the budget reaction speeches of Alex Borg and Robert Abe- la, shows that Labour leads the PN by big margins on public finances and the cost of living. It also leads, albeit with lower margins, on the environment, traffic and population growth. A relative majority trust neither of the two big par- ties with addressing traffic and pop- ulation growth, while small par- ties only make a dent when it comes to envi- ronmental issues, on which they are most trusted by 6% of the electorate.
