He confirmed that work is underway on a new landing site in Marsaskala, which would eventually link to Valletta through an additional fast ferry route. He said: "The Government's commitment is to continue investing in the ferry service, including through an extension to the southern part of Malta to connect the entire eastern coast." He added that with invest- ments in other services such as circular bus routes and park & rides, ferries are being integrat- ed into a multi-modal trans- port system. Officials said the app will handle reports on faulty street lighting, uncollected household waste and provide waste collec- tion schedules and related alerts. Reports will be passed on in- stantly to contractors and coun- cils, allowing for faster action and updates to residents. Camilleri said the tool will make it easier to address minor issues across Gozo. He added that users will receive feedback on the status and closure of their reports. Zerafa Civelli described GRAS as the first system of its kind for regional and local councils. She said the app removes the need for residents to visit or call coun- cils to report everyday problems and helps save valuable time. Azzopardi said significant work went into ensuring the platform is reliable and accurate, while remaining easy for the public to use. He said the regional coun- cil is proud to introduce a digital tool that improves communi- cation and coordination across Gozo.
