The ex- hibition, curated by Elyse Ton- na, will run until 29 May 2026. The exhibition features 11 art- ists: Mario Abela, Justin Falzon, Laura Besançon, Aaron Bezzi- na, Rebecca Bonaci, Kane Calì, Nico Conti, Ryan Falzon, Ro- meo Roxman Gatt, Sarah Maria Scicluna and Seb Tanti Burlò. According to organisers, the exhibition will examine how current conditions are shaped by overlapping political, so- cial, cultural and technological factors. It references issues in- cluding geopolitical conflict, environmental pressures and changing social dynamics. The works include sculpture, installation and image-based pieces. Materials such as stone, metal and porcelain are used to show processes such as wear and change over time. Several works draw on digital media and collective imagery. Organ- isers said the exhibition focus- es on instability and ongoing change rather than fixed mean- ings. The show includes works pro- duced at different times, high- lighting what organisers de- scribe as continuing underlying conditions across contexts. The exhibition is hosted at The Butler's House, a historic building in Malta, which has been repurposed as a cultural site. Nothing is Clear is the first exhibition organised by axis_ and is part of the Malta Bi- ennale 2026 programme. It opens on 10 April and runs until 29 May. Further details are available at axis.mt.
