My essentials JOSEPH AGIUS 59, nurse and artist Having worked as a nurse for 38 years, I have witnessed the many challenges, struggles, and injustices that shape human lives. My experiences have deepened my awareness of suffering and inequality in the world. Through ceramics, I express my feelings and reflect on different situations in life. Clay becomes a powerful medium through which I can discuss human emotions, vulnerability, resilience, injustice, and the complexities of our shared existence. 1. Online story 2. Film 3. Internet 4. Music 5. Place BOB Dylan, a songwriter I really like, is a remarkable songwriter whose lyrics ex- plore the deepest aspects of human existence. Through his music, he tackles injus- tice, war, freedom, love, suf- fering and the contradictions of society. His words often challenge authority and en- courage people to question the world around them. Combining poetic language with distinctive melodies, Dylan transforms songs in- to powerful reflections on humanity. His music goes beyond entertainment, touching our conscience and emotions while reminding us of the importance of truth, dignity and social responsi- bility. BOLOGNA is a beautiful Italian city rich in history, culture and architectural charm. Its old streets, el- egant porticoes, historic universities, museums and magnificent churches cre- ate a unique atmosphere. The city combines its me- dieval character with a lively student population, making it both traditional and modern. Bologna is al- so famous for its excellent food and welcoming spirit. It's convenient location and good transport connections make it an ideal starting point for visiting other Ital- ian cities, such as Florence, Venice and Milan. READING about this fami- ly in Gaza, in an article filled me with sadness and anger at the injustice of war. Their home, once full of love, cel- ebrations and family memo- ries, was reduced to rubble. Their suffering reminds me that behind every destroyed building are human beings with dreams, emotions and hopes. I feel deeply for inno- cent families forced to aban- don their lives. Their story makes me question human- ity and the world's failure to protect people who deserve peace, dignity and security. THE film The Post, a film I really like watching and one I will recommend, shows how courageous journalists fought to reveal the truth about the Vietnam War. De- spite political pressure and the threat of legal conse- quences, journalists at The Washington Post decided to publish classified doc- uments exposing the gov- ernment's dishonesty about the war. Their determina- tion demonstrated the im- portance of freedom of the press and the public's right to know the truth. The film reminds us that journalism plays a vital role in expos- ing injustice, challenging authority and holding pow- erful people accountable for their actions. JOURNALIST Tucker Carl- son interviews Iuliia Mendel, the former press secretary of Ukrainian President Vo- lodymyr Zelensky. During the interview, she shares her experiences working for the president and express- es strong criticisms of his leadership. Carlson gives her a platform to discuss her views on corruption, the war in Ukraine and the difficul- ties facing the country. The interview raises important questions about political power, freedom of speech and the role of journalism in challenging those who gov- ern.
