Valletta put three past Tarxien

Mucardi's shot left no chance for
goalkeeper Omar Borg.
Sliema almost leveled matters
in the closing minutes when Alex
Muscat hot the woodwork with
his shot on goal.

Valletta continue to stay close
to Hibernians in the BOV Pre-
mier League standings after they
defeat Tarxien 3-0.
Valletta had to wait till the 44th
minute before they scored their
first goal of the match. A great
shot from the right by Denni Rocha dos Santos left no chance for
goalkeeper Nicky Vella.
On the 65th minute, Valletta
were awarded a penalty after
Nicky Vella brought Jean Pierre
Mifsud Triganza. From the penalty spot Denni Rocha dos Santos
beat goalkeeper Anthony Curmi
with his shot.
On the 90th minute, Valletta
made sure they collected all
three points when they made it
3-0. Aziz Corr Nyang concluded
a great solo effort by having his
powerful shot beat goalkeeper
Anthony Curmi.
