41 Events maltatoday, Sunday, 17 November 2013 iPad Air now available from GO Apple's newest iPad, the iPad Air is now available from GO. Priced at €649, it is also available for €50 to GO customers on a Limitless 99 Plan. Launched just last month, the iPad Air is run by a 64-bit Apple A7 chipset which makes the device powerful despite being both thinner and lighter than its predecessors. Speaking about the iPad Air, Sandro Gauci, Senior Manager - Consumer Sales at GO said, "GO is the first in Malta to offer the iPad Air to its customers. It is a device which you really have to hold to believe. It's only 7.5 millimetres thin and weighs just 478 grammes. The 2,048 by 1,536 pixel Retina display screen is framed by a thinner bezel further improving the viewing experience. The device has double the processing power of its predecessor and runs on iOS 7, making it easy to work and live with." GO is stocking the Wi-Fi + Cellular model of the iPad Air. This model uses two antennae instead of one and MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) technology, which allows for significantly greater volumes of data to be processed without increasing bandwidth. Consequently, the iPad Air Wi-Fi + Cellular delivers up to twice the Wi-Fi performance of its predecessor and supports more LTE (Long Term Evolution) bands which means users can connect quickly and easily the world over. For further details on the iPad Air, customers are welcome to drop in at any one of GO's retail outlets or exclusive resellers in Malta and Gozo where they can subscribe to the LIMITLESS plans. They can call anytime on 146 for free from a GO mobile connection or 79 222146 from other lines, call Freephone 80 072121 or visit www.go.com.mt. Terms and conditions apply Unique tooth-whitening treatment launched An excellent new tooth whitening treatment has just been launched in Malta and Gozo. The only one of its kind, Smartbleach toothwhitening is performed using the state of the art KTP laser. This system is unique, in that it uses deep-light penetration with light of 532 nm which is able to deeply penetrate the tooth in order to remove stains without heating or destroying the enamel, dentin or pulp. The KTP light breaks down large colourstain molecules present within the top third of the dentine. Next to UV, this is the only wavelength capable of breaking down resistant dental tetracyline stains. KTP light is used to activate the Smartbleach Gel which induces production of hydroxyl radicals and singlet oxygen. These two reactive oxygen species are the most potent bleaching agents, much more powerful than hydrogen peroxide, yielding very efficient tooth whitening. Smartbleach is also the safest bleaching system available. No home bleach trays are needed and treatment takes less than one hour. This high performance tooth whitening system can be found within Estetika the Cosmetic Clinic, at Green Apple Dental Clinic, Sliema 21 340503 and Savina Dental & Implantology Centre, Victoria, Gozo 21 557323 and SkyParks MIA 21 657323 BHS now open on Sunday Sunday is not a day for shopping unless it's from BHS!
