The Atletico Madrid boss stormed on to the field in the wake of Real Madrid's fourth goal in Lis- bon on Saturday night, angry with France defender Raphael Varane. The Real player had kicked the ball towards Simeone as he walked back after Cristiano Ronaldo's penalty made it 4-1 and, after whacking it back at him, Simeone stormed on the the field and had to be restrained as he went for the player. He will be dealt with, UEFA con- firmed on its website, on July 17. Real midfielder Xabi Alonso has also been charged with improper conduct. The Spain international was banned for the match and as such could not be on the bench but, when Gareth Bale scored what proved to be the winning goal, he ran down the touchline to join his team-mates in celebration. Both sides have also been charged for receiving more than five yellow cards each. Diego Simeone saw his side lose the Champions League final FORMULA 1 Button: Hamilton will be stronger in Canada JENSON Button expects fellow coun- tryman Lewis Hamilton to come back 'stronger than ever' in the Canadian Grand Prix next week. Button was paired with Hamilton at McLaren from 2000-2012 and added that the 29-year-old will probably blitz it at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve as he looks to put a difficult weekend in Mo- naco behind him. Hamilton finished second at the Principality, but remained unhappy with events the previous day, when his Mercedes team-mate, Nico Rosberg went off on his final run in the top-ten shootout and brought out the yellow flags. That meant Hamilton had to abort his lap, handing Rosberg a con- troversial pole – and pole position is everything in Monte Carlo given the tight and twisty nature of the street circuit where it is almost impossible to pass. "Whether Nico did it on purpose or not, Lewis is going to think that he did and that is the way when you are team-mates fighting for a world cham- pionship," Button told British newspa- per, The Guardian. "But you will see a more determined Lewis at the next race. "I remember with Lewis that when we had a tussle in a race or there was an issue between us or with the team, he would have a really bad race and be quite outspoken and emotional. And at the next race he would destroy me. He would come back stronger than ever." "In Spa [in 2012], we had the issue of running different downforce levels and he did not like that. It hurt him that weekend, but he came back and won the next race," Button recalled. "He is very good at turning it around because he is a super driver, he is very fast and he can wrestle a car around a circuit. The mind games people play on him will not work. "Initially, he is an emotional charac- ter, and he will be quite hurt, but he comes back strong. After a bad race he would arrive at the next one very quiet, and then go out and blitz it. "He will do the same in Canada – he will probably be untouchable in Can- ada. And he likes the circuit," Button added.
