THIS WEEK 16 THEATRE & MUSIC TONIGHT The New Choral Singers – 20 th Anniversary Concert e New Choral Singers will be celebrating their 20th Anniversary with a concert at John's Co- Cathedral, Valletta, at 19:30 in aid of Hospice Malta, who this year are also commemorating their 25th year. e concert will include the Malta premier of 'Song of Songs', a full work penned in by Patrick Hawes who's best known as composer-in- residence at Classic FM in the UK and for writing the 'Highgrove Suite' for HRH the Prince of Wales. Also featured will be world premieres of works written especially for the anniversary concert by the British composer and choir director Geoff rey Nobes, and Malta's very own Alexander Vella Gregory. Featuring: Nicola Said (soprano), May Caruana (mezzo soprano), Edward Camilleri (tenor), Albert Buttigieg (bass), John Aquilina (organ), Sarah Spiteri (orchestra leader) and Robert Calleja (conductor). Entrance is free but donations going towards the hospice would be appreciated. JUNE 13-15 The Accidental Pervert TAC eatre production of Andrew Goff mann's comedy at St James Cavalier, Valletta at 20:00. Directed by Marc Cabourdin and featuring Malcolm Galea in a one-man-show. JUNE 25 Isle of MTV Annual free concert organised by MTV at the Granaries, Floriana and featuring internationally-renowned artists. Line-up for this year will be headlined by popular British hip- hop artist Dizzee Rascal, who will be joined by American electro-pop singer Kiesza and DJ Hardwell. is year's edition of the concert will also incorporate local acts as part of a 'Battle of the Bands' competition.
